Dear Fire Tech family,
COVID-19 is impacting us all. As your child’s safety is always our first concern, and given the latest news about the virus, we are cancelling our face to face courses this April.
As we noted in the email we sent out last week, if you have booked an Easter camp you now have two options:
- Swap into a summer camp at no cost. We plan for summer to go ahead, and all of our courses are up now and ready for booking. Please send an email to email@example.com or call us on 020 3950 7310 and we’ll make the change for you.
- Join us for our inaugural remote learning camps. We hope that you will select this option as we are working hard to offer an engaging, project-focused experience that your kids can enjoy from home, based around remote, live streamed teaching from our tutors. Given the circumstances, we are offering you these courses over Easter for free by booking with the code we have sent you by email, as well as offering you 50% off your next Fire Tech booking.
You can now book these remote courses via this link. (You can find the general laptop spec requirements here.) We’ll be in touch after you’ve booked to give you full details on the remote set up and any specific specs for your course.
Here is a list of camps we have remotely:
We will get through this together! We are working super hard to provide the best possible experience to our online campers, and we are hopeful that this is going to be the beginning of a whole range of new learning opportunities that can grow our community to areas that we haven’t been able to serve in the past. (Why not invite a faraway friend or cousin to join you!)
We also are looking at ways to use our expertise to help people out during this difficult time. We always love to hear from you and we will continue to share stories and resources on our social media accounts. We’d love to find a partner that would help us provide free learning activities to young people should the schools close – contact me directly if you have any ideas!
Feel free to call us if you have any questions and we will do our best to continue to serve our Fire Tech community, in safe, fun, engaging, and educational ways.
Warmest wishes to all of you,
