  1. Welcome to your Fire Tech Membership!

1.1 Introduction: Fire Camp Ltd (“Fire Tech”, “we”, “us”, “our”) provides its services (described below) to you through its website located at www.fire-tech.com (the “Site”).

In these Terms and Conditions (“these Conditions”), the following terms shall have the following meanings: ‘Booking Form’ the online booking form by which details of the student and the Course he/she wishes to attend are submitted to Fire Tech; ‘Membership’ the membership that a customer has purchased from the Fire Tech website; ‘Course’ the course that the student is attending, as set out in the Booking Form; ‘student’ the child or children who will be attending the Course as specified in the Booking Form; ‘Fire Tech’ FIRECAMP Ltd (t/a Fire Tech) of 33 Epirus Road, London SW6 7UR; ‘Site’ through which it provides its services (described below) to you through its website located at www.fire-tech.com (the “Site”); ‘Fees’ the fees shown on Fire Tech’s website or other published literature relating to the Services from time to time; ‘Services’ the provision of the Course for the student by Fire Tech; ‘you’ and ‘your’ the student’s parent(s) or guardian(s) as specified in “Your Details” Booking Form.

1.2. The headings in these Conditions are for convenience only and shall not affect their interpretation.

1.3 Modifications to Terms of Service: We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change or modify portions of these Terms of Service at any time. If we do this, depending on the nature of the change, we will post the changes on this page and indicate at the top of this page the date these terms were last revised and/or notify you, either through the Services’ user interface, in an email notification or through other reasonable means and as required by applicable law. Any such changes will become effective no earlier than fourteen (14) days after they are posted, except that changes addressing new functions of the Services or changes made for legal reasons will be effective immediately. Your continued use of the Service after the date any such changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms of Service. In addition, when using certain Services, you will be subject to any additional terms applicable to such Services that may be posted on the Service from time to time.

1.4 Privacy: At Fire Tech, we respect the privacy of our users. For details please see our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to our collection and use of personal data as outlined therein.

  1. Access and Use of the Service

2.1 Use Description: The Fire Tech service, and any content viewed through our service, is solely for your personal and non-commercial use. With your Fire Tech purchase we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, license to access Fire Tech online classes and content and view your course(s) through the service for that purpose. No in-person courses, where available, are included in the Membership.

Except for the foregoing limited license, no right, title or interest shall be transferred to you. You agree not to use the service for public performances. Fire Tech may revoke your Membership license at any time in its sole discretion. Upon such revocation, you must promptly destroy all content downloaded or otherwise obtained through the service, as well as copies of such materials, whether made in accordance with these Terms of Service or otherwise.

2.2 Your Registration Obligations: You may be required to register with Fire Tech in order to access and use certain features of the Service. If you choose to register for the Service, you agree to provide and maintain true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself as prompted by the Service’s registration form. Registration data and certain other information about you are governed by our Privacy Policy. If you are under 18 years old, you may use the Service, with or without registering, only with the approval of your parent or guardian.

2.3 Member Account, Password and Security: Any member of your immediate household may use your account. However you may never use another’s account, and you may not provide any person from another household with the username and password to access your account. You are fully responsible for any and all activities that occur under your password or account, and it is your responsibility to ensure that your password remains confidential and secure. You agree to (a) immediately notify Fire Tech of any unauthorised use of your password or account or any other breach of security, and (b) ensure that you exit from your account at the end of each session when accessing the Service. Fire Tech will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this Section.

2.4 Modifications to Service: Fire Tech reserves the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice. You agree that Fire Tech will not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension or discontinuance of the Service. We have no obligation to retain any of Your Account or Submitted Content for any period of time beyond what may be required by applicable law.

  1. Conditions of Use

3.1. Fire Tech shall provide the Services to the student subject to these Conditions. By booking and paying the fee you agree on behalf of yourself and the student to be bound by these Conditions. These Conditions constitute the entire agreement between Fire Tech and you/the student and may not be varied except in writing by a director of Fire Tech. 

3.2. Bookings are accepted at the discretion of Fire Tech and are not transferable.

3.3. You shall fully complete the Booking Form and at your own expense supply Fire Tech with all necessary and other information required by Fire Tech in connection with the Services.

3.4. Fire Tech may correct any typographical or other errors or omissions in any Fire Tech material relating to the provision of the Services without incurring any liability to you.

3.5 User Conduct: You are solely responsible for all code, video, images, information, data, text, software, music, sound, photographs, graphics, messages or other materials (“content”) that you upload, post, publish or display (hereinafter, “upload”) or email or otherwise use via the Service. Fire Tech reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate legal action against anyone who, in Fire Tech’s sole discretion, violates this provision, including without limitation, removing the offending content from the Service, suspending or terminating the account of such violators and reporting you to the law enforcement authorities. You agree to not use the Service to:

  • email or otherwise upload any content that (i) infringes any intellectual property or other proprietary rights of any party; (ii) you do not have a right to upload under any law or under contractual or fiduciary relationships; (iii) contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment; (iv) poses or creates a privacy or security risk to any person; (v) constitutes unsolicited or unauthorised advertising, promotional materials, commercial activities and/or sales, “junk mail,” “spam,” “chain letters,” “pyramid schemes,” “contests,” “sweepstakes,” or any other form of solicitation; (vi) is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortious, excessively violent, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, pornographic, libelous, invasive of another’s privacy, hateful racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable; or (vii) in the sole judgment of Fire Tecg, is objectionable or which restricts or inhibits any other person from using or enjoying the Service, or which may expose Fire Tech or its users to any harm or liability of any type;
  • interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service, or disobey any requirements, procedures, policies or regulations of networks connected to the Service;
  • violate any applicable local, state, national or international law, or any regulations having the force of law;
  • impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity; solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 18;
  • harvest or collect email addresses or other contact information of other users from the Service by electronic or other means for the purposes of sending unsolicited emails or other unsolicited communications;
  • advertise or offer to sell or buy any goods or services for any business purpose that is not specifically authorised;
  • further or promote any criminal activity or enterprise or provide instructional information about illegal activities; or
  • obtain or attempt to access or otherwise obtain any materials or information through any means not intentionally made available or provided for through the Service.

3.6 Commercial Use: Unless otherwise expressly authorised herein or by Fire Tech in writing, you agree not to display, distribute, license, perform, publish, reproduce, duplicate, copy, create derivative works from, modify, sell, resell, exploit, transfer or upload for any commercial purposes, any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service.

3.7 Use of voucher codes: no Membership purchase can be made using any discount voucher code provided by Fire Tech, or any other party. However, purchases can be made using account credit, including credit received as part of Fire Tech’s referral programme as outlined in 15.1.

3.8 Use subject to availability: any booking of any course as part of a Membership is subject to availability of that course. If a course is sold out or unable to run for any reason, customers must choose another available course.

Payment of Fees 

3.1. You shall pay Fire Tech the Fees and any additional sums which are agreed between you and Fire Tech for the provision of the Services.

3.2 The full Fees must be sent to Fire Tech via the website Booking Form. No booking is valid until payment has been received. Fire Tech shall not be responsible for any cash payment.

  1. Rules, Regulations and your Liability

4.1. You agree to be wholly liable for any and all actions and/or omissions of the Student. Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, you shall be liable for any liability, financial or otherwise, or injury or damage to property caused by the Student whilst at the Location, and shall fully indemnify Fire Tech, their agents, contractors and/or employees for any loss, damage, costs or expenses resulting from such liability, injury or damage.


4.2. Fire Tech reserves the right to make rules and regulations relating to the student’s participation in the Course (“the Rules”). The Rules form part of these Conditions and will be notified to the student at the Location or earlier. 

4.3. Any failure by the student to adhere to the Rules may result in his/her participation at the Course being terminated forthwith without refund and in such event the student may be sent home at your expense.

4.4. Without prejudice to paragraph 4.3 above, Fire Tech reserves the right to withdraw the student from any activity at any time on the grounds of safety or unsuitability.

  1. Cancellation

5.1. In the event of cancellation by you, a credit will only be issued if such cancellation is notified in writing to Fire Tech at least one week before the commencement of the first course or experience booked under your membership. Bookings may be changed or cancelled up to one week before the first day of the course. To request a refund or to ask a question, email Support at help@fire-tech.com.

5.3. If, for any reason, the Course is cancelled by Fire Tech, the total liability of Fire Tech will not exceed that proportion of the Fees Fire Tech have actually received.

5.4 Fees are non-returnable for students arriving late, leaving early or missing a day of Course (whether on account of illness or any other cause).  If the course has been booked, then the full fees are payable.

  1. Liability

6.1. Except in respect of death or personal injury caused by Fire Tech’s negligence, Fire Tech shall not be liable to you or the student by reason of any representation (unless fraudulent) or any implied warranty, condition or other term or any duty at common law or under the express terms of this Agreement for any loss of profit or any indirect, special or consequential loss, damage, costs, expenses or other claims (whether caused by or negligent or the negligence of our servants, or agents or otherwise) which arise out of or in connection with the provision of the Services or their use by you or the student, and our entire liability under or in connection with this Agreement shall not exceed the amount of our Fees for the provision of the Services.

6.2. Where Fire Tech provides, in connection with the provision of the Services, any goods or equipment or services supplied by a third party, Fire Tech does not give any warranty, guarantee or other terms as to their quality, fitness for purpose, performance or otherwise.

6.3. Fire Tech shall have no liability to the student for any loss, damage, costs, expenses or other claims for compensation arising from any instructions supplied by you which are incomplete, incorrect, inaccurate or illegible, or arising from the student’s late arrival or non-arrival, or any other fault of you or the student.

6.4. Fire Tech shall not be liable to you or be deemed to be in breach of the contract by reason of any delay in performing, or any failure to perform, any of Fire Tech’ obligations in relation to the Services, if the delay or failure was due to any cause beyond Fire Tech’ reasonable control.

6.5. Fire Tech reserves the right to alter programmes, activities, itineraries, excursions, age brackets, premises and personnel as it thinks fit and without notice. 

6.6. Fire Tech will not be bound by any statement unless it is in writing and authorised by a Director of Fire Tech

  1. Medical and Behavioural

7.1. Any medical or behavioural problems of the student known to you must be notified to Fire Tech in writing on the Booking Form, and in any event prior to the commencement of the Course. Fire Tech reserve the right not to accept your Booking on the grounds that any such medical or behavioural problems are not conducive to the student’s or other students’ participation in the Course.

7.2. In the event that the student becomes ill or incapacitated during the Course, you agree to medical treatment being given to the student if required in accordance with the recommendations of a qualified medical practitioner, including the administration of a general anaesthetic and to surgical operations in case of emergency. Such action shall be taken at your expense.

7.3 It is your responsibility to tell Fire Tech prior to the start of a course of any issue or condition that may affect their time on the course. These include but are not limited to ADHD, SEN, medical, languages, disabilities, diet, medical, behavioural/social issues, child’s history.

7.4  Fire Tech reserves the right to suspect or remove any student whose attendance, work or behaviour is, in their reasonable opinion, unsatisfactory.  Under such circumstances, Fire Tech will be under no obligation to return any fees.  Children who disrupt the learning environment for other participants, who destroy property or projects, and who otherwise compromise the health, safety and/or learning environment will be removed. 

7.5 Permission is given to administer medication or first aid if required.

  1. Intellectual Property Rights

8.1 Service Content, Software and Trademarks: You acknowledge and agree that the Service may contain content or features (“Service Content”) that are protected by copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret or other proprietary rights and laws. Except as expressly authorised by Fire Tech, you agree not to modify, copy, frame, scrape, rent, lease, loan, sell, distribute or create derivative works based on the Service or the Service Content, in whole or in part, except that the foregoing does not apply to your own User Content (as defined below) that you legally upload to the Service. In connection with your use of the Service you will not engage in or use any data mining, robots, scraping or similar data gathering or extraction methods. If you are blocked by Fire Tech from accessing the Service (including blocking your IP address), you agree not to implement any measures to circumvent such blocking (e.g., by masking your IP address or using a proxy IP address). Any use of the Service or the Service Content other than as specifically authorised herein is strictly prohibited. 

  1. Third Party Websites

9.1 The Service may provide, or third parties may provide, links or other access to other sites and resources on the Internet. Fire Tech has no control over such sites and resources and Fire Tech is not responsible for and does not endorse such sites and resources. You further acknowledge and agree that Fire Tech will not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any content, events, goods or services available on or through any such site or resource. Any dealings you have with third parties found while using the Service are between you and the third party, and you agree that Fire Tech is not liable for any loss or claim that you may have against any such third party.

  1. Indemnity and Release

10.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to release, indemnify and hold Fire Tech and its affiliates and their officers, employees, directors and agent harmless from any from any and all losses, damages, expenses, including reasonable legal fees, rights, claims, actions of any kind and injury (including death) arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, any User Content, your connection to the Service, your violation of these Terms of Service or your violation of any rights of another.

  1. Publicity

11.1. You acknowledge that Fire Tech may use for publicity purposes and without prior notification any photograph or video taken of the student at the Location, and any statement (whether written or oral) made by you or the student.

  1. Child Protection/Safeguarding

12.1. Fire Tech will contact Local Safeguarding Children’s board if we suspect abuse or in an event of a disclosure

  1. Force Majeure

13.1. We shall not be liable for any delay in performing or failure to perform any obligation (including to action any alteration or cancelation) due to any case beyond our reasonable control including lock-outs, strikes, shortages of personnel, labour disputes, war, riot, act of God, civil commotion, terrorism, malicious damage, threats to safety, compliance with any law or governmental order, rule, regulation or direction, accident, environmental contamination, pandemic outbreak of disease, breakdown of plant or machinery, fire, flood, storm, difficulty or increased expense in obtaining workmen, materials, goods or raw materials in connection with the performance of this agreement.  In the case of cancellation by the student or Fire Tech  due to Force Majeure we will not be able to refund cancellations.

  1. General

14.1. If any provision of these Conditions is held by any competent authority to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, the validity of the other provisions of these Conditions and the remainder of the provision in question shall not be affected.

14.2. This agreement is governed by the laws of England and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

  1. Refer a Friend – Online Courses

15.1 The referee will get £50 off their first Fire Tech remote booking. The referee can use the credit on any of Fire Tech’s remote courses.

15.2 The referee must book and attend a Fire Tech remote course in order for the referrer to receive their credit

15.3 The credit will be added to the referrers Fire Tech account once their friend has made their booking and we have verified their purchase. The referrer can use the credit on any of Fire Tech’s remote courses

15.5 This can not be used in conjunction with other offers.

15.6 Fire Tech has the right to amend, remove or vary our Refer a Friend policy at any time.

  1. Disputes Between Users

16.1 You agree that you are solely responsible for your interactions with any other user in connection with the Service and Fire Tech will have no liability or responsibility with respect thereto. Fire Tech reserves the right, but has no obligation, to become involved in any way with disputes between you and any other user of the Service.

  1. Termination

17.1 You agree that Fire Tech, in its sole discretion, may suspend or terminate your account (or any part thereof) or use of the Service and remove and discard any content within the Service, for any reason, including, without limitation, for lack of use or if Fire Tech believes that you have violated or acted inconsistently with the letter or spirit of these Terms of Service. Any suspected fraudulent, abusive or illegal activity that may be grounds for termination of your use of Service, may be referred to appropriate law enforcement authorities. Fire Tech may also in its sole discretion and at any time discontinue providing the Service, or any part thereof, with or without notice. You agree that any termination of your access to the Service under any provision of this Terms of Service may be effected without prior notice, and acknowledge and agree that Fire Tech may immediately deactivate or delete your account and all related information and files in your account and/or bar any further access to such files or the Service. Further, you agree that Fire Tech will not be liable to you or any third party for any termination of your access to the Service.
