Ultimate Digital Graphics combines two creative disciplines together, Photography and Graphic Design and takes you through how these two mediums can work extremely well together in creating your own unique portfolio pieces. 
This course is open to all skill levels as it will cover the fundamentals of composition and framing, as well as the building blocks of design while also delving into more complex and advanced techniques and software tools.

Coding Games With Java

Master key computing concepts and coding basics. Students will use Java and the Greenfoot library to learn computer science theory, syntax, and object oriented coding.
We teach Java using the <a href="http://www.greenfoot.org/door">Greenfoot</a> platform, developed at the University of Kent. Greenfoot makes coding interactive, easy and fun, providing a supportive environment for the creation of 2D graphical games and simulations. Students will learn coding concepts such as variables, functions and classes, as they go from game consumer to game creator.
We also show students the tools and resources available so they can continue learning and developing independently with Java after the course.
This is an excellent first coding course for teens aged 12+ and no previous programming knowledge is required.

Making Games With ROBLOX

This fantastic course is based on the amazingly popular Roblox platform, and introduces budding young designers and developers to the principles of practical game design &amp; development, world building and Lua programming.
Students will first be introduced to Roblox and to Roblox Studio as a platform for creating games. They will build an obstacle course (Obby) game and publish their game for others to play. Next, students will meet programming concepts using Lua, creating custom interactive obstacles for their Obby game. Student will also create their own unique Roblox games and publish them to the Internet for anyone to play!
Using Roblox terrain editor tools, students will then build a basic RPG where they can explore a custom built world and harvest the items they have created.
This course is designed for students aged 9-12 who may or may not have programmed previously. Some may have already played Roblox games, or even made their own. Others may have experience with different game engines or programming languages, whilst there may be some for whom game development and programming is a completely new endeavour.

Making 3D Games with Unreal Engine

Unreal Engine is a game engine and powerful development platform for creating 2D and 3D games. It has quickly become one of the industry standards when it comes to Game Development. You can use it to create games for desktop, mobile devices and even consoles. Python with Minecraft

Minecraft is an engaging environment that allows fans of all ages to exercise their creative powers, make exciting worlds and populate them with creatures and objects. One of the neat features of Minecraft is that it is possible to "hack" the Minecraft game with real Python code. Our students use Python to automate the building of huge structures, code shortcuts, and build a "game within the game".
Python is one of the world's most popular programming languages it is used by everyone from companies that are household names such as Instagram, Dropbox and Pinterest through to schools and colleges teaching the programming aspects of GCSE, A-Level and Degree Level Computer Science Courses. This course will help introduce students to the language in a fun, enjoyable way. Making Video Games with Python

You may already have done our Junior Python course, or you may be taking your first steps with text-based programming. Either way Making Video Games with Python is for you. Students will start off by making some purely text-based games, including a text-based adventure game, that will enable them to get to grips with the basics of the Python language.


The next stage will be to take a deep dive into the PygameZero library for making 2D games. This will include a more in-depth look at common patterns in game programming and give the students a better understanding of how to develop their programs and games, based around making a series of different games to explore different aspects of the process.


The week will culminate in the students developing a game of their own.
