This course takes the experience from completing the Teen Python Club and enable you to look at some of the topics in more depth. It also introduces some of the concepts that software developers have to deal with on a daily basis, such as installing libraries, evaluating code editors and automated testing of software.

A popular choice for students taking GCSE or A Level Computer science. Learn the fundamentals of modern coding including data types, variables, functions, loops and object oriented programming. This course covers all of the coding elements of the GCSE and most of those included in the A levels.

Course Overview

Take your coding further with this second step in learning Python. This course builds on the Python fundamentals covered in the Teen Python Club course and helps you to deepen your knowledge of this powerful and popular coding language that is helping a wide range of industries push the boundaries of digital innovation and creation. Our specialist tutors will help you to develop more robust programming proficiency by developing your knowledge and use of advanced strings & expressions, file IO’s and data structures applied within challenge-focused environments. 

Whether you dream of building the next million pound start-up, working at Facebook or Google, or been a Data Scientist, this course will give you a valuable skill to build a rewarding career in whatever field you choose. 

Each weekly session runs for 3hrs on Saturday or Sunday (depending on venue) for 5 consecutive sessions

Clubs don’t run during the half-term break.

Laptop hire is only available in our London clubs.
Pi-top computers and Chrome Books are not suitable for the course.
