Course Overview

Ever wondered how some people get those amazing filters on video calls? Or ever wanted to be a monster on Halloween or an elf at Christmas? Here’s your chance to discover how.

Using SnapChat’s lens studio, this cutting edge Fire Tech Experience will take you through making a series of fun and exciting filters that will wildly transform your appearance onscreen and can be used with Zoom, Google Meets, Teams and SnapChat.

We’ll show you how to warp a face using the transform features. We’ll also show you how to trigger actions on certain facial expressions, hand gestures, segmentation, markers and object detection.

Once you’ve made your own filter you’ll need to publish it. We’ll show you how to do that as well.

Everything you need from creation to end filter is covered.

FireTech Experiences are a new series of short, high interest, fun and engaging tech demonstrations and talks.
