We’ve condensed the most important learning from the OCR Computer Science GCSE into a 6 week intensive course designed to maximise your exam grade. This course covers both papers and learners will receive extra resources and content to work on in between sessions.

Most PC/Mac computers from the last 5 years will be fine but you can view our recommended detailed system requirements here. For on campus courses: laptops are provided for all junior courses, as well as Music, Unity, Creative Design & YouTube senior courses. Laptop rental is available for all other senior courses (£50 extra).

Course Overview

We’ve condensed the most important learning for OCR GCSE Computer Science into a 6 week intensive course that will help you achieve your best grade in the exams.

Our expert computer science tutor will lead you in a small group through the key principles of the OCR Computer Science GCSE, focusing on key concepts, keywords and terms, while providing top tips and tricks for remembering and working out exam questions. At the end of each lesson you’ll get extra materials to consolidate and extend your learning outside of the class. These may include practice questions or even challenges to solve using information from the session.

Students should be studying the OCR GCSE Computer Science specification as this Fire Tech bootcamp course is an intense revision of the content they will have already been taught. We will also be using Python for algorithmic and programming examples.

Although this course will cover the learning in both papers and include some exam questions, if you want additional dedicated focus on exam preparation and practise questions we have OCR GCSE Computer Science Paper 1 and Paper 2 Experiences coming soon.
