Course Overview

1.2 trillion – that’s the number of digital photos taken last year. People, the world over, are drawn to photography because of its power to tell stories, convey emotion, and create a powerful first impression.

In this two day immersive workshop, Fire Tech’s team of creatives will teach students how to utilise professional level equipment like a Digital DSLR camera, Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom to produce stunning photographs.

On day one students will learn basic skills – lighting, composition and editing. On day two, they’ll work on a mini project and use features from the camera in conjunction with Photoshop to produce professional looking photography. Finally, students will put together a mini-portfolio of their best work to take home and show friends and family.
