This is a crash course on the Adobe Creative Cloud - the pro software used by the creative industry as they use graphic design and video tools to create the messages all around us.
You will create your own movie posters with Photoshop, learn vector-based art with Illustrator, edit videos with Adobe Clip and Premiere Pro, and produce sound clips (or podcasts!) with Adobe Audition. Wrap up the week with a portfolio that you can be proud of and keep working on after the course is done!

This course is designed for students interested in graphic design, digital publishing and online media creation. During this course, students will learn how to use the Adobe Suite, which includes Photoshop, Illustrator, Clip, Premiere Pro, and Audition.
Students will attain core skills within creative digital design that will be highly adaptable and applied across personal, academic and professional contexts, and learn how to create different digital media using professional-level Graphic Design tools.
This is an online learning course led by an onscreen expert who is fully DBS-checked. You will join a small group of other young learners online, working together and making lots of progress in fun and engaging sessions. All classes are monitored and recorded for safety.
PLEASE NOTE: students will need an iPhone or Android smartphone to use for filming and for editing with Clip. This course requires you have an active Adobe Creative Cloud subscription, a capable computer to work on and a broadband internet connection. Details on how to access the service at the discounted student rate are here. A PC/Mac computer with at least 8GB of RAM is recommended.
This course is also available in part-time formats.
