Course Overview

Would you like your child to have fun with cutting-edge technology and develop new skills?

Take a sneak peek into Fire Tech’s #1 course for 9-12-year-olds: Junior Coder. As a special Easter holiday gift, we’re running this workshop for free.

This is a perfect taster session for beginner coders who will gain insight and experience in computer coding through this exciting robotics taster course!

Whats included?

In this two hour taster session, children will understand basic robotics concepts. They’ll learn about sensors and inputs, create mazes for their Ozobot robots to follow, and then programme the Ozobot to accomplish the set challenges — whether that’s making their Ozobot flash, turnaround, wiggle, make sounds or anything else they can think of!

They’ll be supported the whole time by our tech-savvy tutors and leave feeling excited and eager to learn more.

Please note, due to classroom sizes, this workshop is for students only. There are cafes nearby where parents can stay whilst the workshop is taking place.

"All the staff were amazing and really helpful. This course really boosted my confidence with computers and video game design. It was really fun and I made a lot of friends I'll be sorry to say goodbye to. Writing the coding was even more fun than playing the games."
