Our Commitment

Fire Tech is committed to making tech education accessible to young people from all backgrounds, and we have already self-funded and raised sponsorships for hundreds of places on camps and workshops.  

This summer we have partnered with Greater Manchester Higher to offer scholarship places for our courses in Manchester. 

Greater Manchester Higher is a network of universities and colleges from across Greater Manchester, who are working together to provide activities for local schools and colleges. Greater Manchester Higher aims to improve the delivery of information, advice and guidance about higher education routes and the range of options available. Greater Manchester Higher are able to fund a number of scholarship places for young people who are in year groups 9 – 13 and live in the following areas: Abram, Alexandra, Baguley, Barton, Benchill, Beswick and Clayton, Blackley, Bradford, Breightmet, Brinnington, Bucklow, Cadishead, Charlestown, Denton South East, Edgeley, Farnworth, Gorton North, Gorton South, Gamesley, Harper Green, Harpurhey, Heywood West, Hyde Godley, Hyde Newton, Ince, Irlam, Kersal, Little Hulton, Middleton Central, Middleton West, Newtown, Norley, North Reddish, Ordsall, Radcliffe Central, Sharston, St. James, St. Marys, Swinton North, Tonge, Walkden North, Winton, Woodhouse Park, & Worsley Mesnes.

But don’t worry, if you don’t meet this criteria, there are still other scholarship opportunities available so it is still worth applying!

Coding Games with Java: 30 Jul-3 Aug, ages 12-17
Digital Music Production: 6-10 Aug, 13-17 Aug, ages 12-17
3D Game Development with Unity: 23-27 July, ages 14-17
Teen Coding With Python: 23-27 Jul, 6-10 Aug, 13-17 Aug, ages 14-17
Python & Electronics With Minecraft: 30 Jul-3 Aug, 13-17 Aug, ages 12-17
Creative Digital Design: 23-27 Jul, 30 Jul-3 Aug, 6-10 Aug, ages 12-17

Manchester Communication Academy. (All courses are five days and run from 10am-4pm). 

Teen Coding with Python: 20-24th Aug, ages 14-17 
Python and Electronics with Minecraft: 20-24th Aug, ages 12-17
Creative Digital Design: 20-24th Aug, ages 12-17
